I was part of a team that successfully oversaw the U-M Institute for Social Research’s website redesign and transition from an static HTML into a modern WordPress website. The bottom image shows the HTML website, which I updated myself on a daily basis for several months until the WordPress website in the middle was built. The top image shows the new look, fully compliant with the new University of Michigan identity standards at the time.
In addition, I was the go-to web person within the Communications department, managing and maintaining the Institute’s website, consulting and coordinating web work with external developers, and posting new content frequently, which often included designing web graphics and/or optimizing existing art for the web.
